Kaylee wasn't at this job so that she could make friends, or so that she could make enemies; it was a job needing to be done, and it was in a smaller atmosphere than that of Cortland's hospital. There had been too many people there to do her job efficiently, so when a new nursing home was opening up, Kirsten Lee Turner, Registered Nurse, was sure to sign herself up as soon as she could. Sighing now though, she sat at her station behind the nurses counter, and nothing was going on. She'd never before been in such a droll and boring environment. She convinced herself it was because the place had just opened up, but seriously... could it get anymore uneventful?
Looking around, the few residents that did live there so far, were all either in wheelchairs, or they didn't much talk. Kaylee figured it was because they were all dumped here by their families, most of which would probably never return for even a visit, and they were all lonely or aggravated. The man who stood at the entrance of the building kept eyeing and looking down the hallway at her, and Kirsten just dared the man internally to try and escape. Like most of the latest nursing homes, the doors all had alarms on them for when an elderly would try and escape. To prevent the alarm from going off, they had to press a certain number key in the door way... one in which only guests and staff were allowed to know. Elderly were not.
Kaylee smirked to herself, her long blond hair tied back, just daring the man to do something foolish. "Come on..." she whispered to herself, the glasses she wore only for reading sitting upon her head...
...as she just waited...
