Here at Athena's Garden Nursing Home, we provide each resident room with a basic room set-up. This is by no means the only furnishings allowed as we encourage all residents to bring their own favorite pieces of furniture; provided it fits in the room, does not block any route of emergency escape, nor obstructs the nursing staff from being able to provide needed attention and care.
Each room will be furnished with the following:
1. One double-sized mattress with box springs. Clean standard Quality-Care white sheets will be provided by Athena's Garden every day, as well as one standard Quality-Care white blanket and one standard Quality-Care cotton pillow with pillowcase. Residents are encouraged to bring their own colorful blankets, pillows, and such things.
2. One oak-finished bedside table. This table includes three drawers which may be used at the resident's discretion.
3. One standard white telephone, though residents are encouraged to bring their own if they have one that better suits.
4. One standard bedside lamp which sits on the bedside table. It has a silver colored base and trimmings with a white lampshade.
5. All room walls are a standard eggshell white, though these may be painted over at the occupants discretion. Residents will not be required to repaint the rooms if they leave our facility as our Janitorial Staff will be doing such.
6. Each room comes with an attached bathroom in which is equipped with standard Quality-Care safe bathroom furnishings. A standard Quality-Care white toilet with seat and cover; a standard Quality-Care sink with silver faucets; a standard Quality-Care white interior shower with provided shower seat and easily-maneuverable shower head.
